Leah Simpson is a Goulburn Valley local who began her career with SMR Legal in 2015. Following graduation from Shepparton High School, Leah began working as a receptionist at SMR Legal while undertaking a Certificate III in Business Administration at Goulburn Ovens Institute of Tafe. Leah completed this course in one third of the expected time. Leah was promoted into a legal assistant role providing her with experience across many practice areas offered at SMR Legal.
Leah went on to study Bachelor of Arts at La Trobe University before transferring into Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in Bendigo. On top of studying full-time in Bendigo, Leah continued to work at SMR Legal in Shepparton part time.
After graduating with Honours from La Trobe University in December 2022, Leah began her supervised legal training position in January 2023 at SMR Legal. This role involves working in various areas including family law, property, litigation, commercial law and wills and estates. Leah looks forward to the experiences and learning in this position under the guidance of Stephen Merrylees.
Leah is passionate about addressing clients\u2019 needs in a professional and compassionate manner and looks forward to continuing her rewarding career at SMR Legal.<\/p>\n<\/div>
