Nicole Inglis

LAWYER

Born and raised in Melbourne, Nicole studied for an Arts Degree with Honours before completing her Masters in Criminology and rounding this off with a Law degree.

Having completed two summer clerkships in Northern Victoria, Nicole moved to live in the Goulburn Valley where she completed her practical training and then practiced law for fourteen years working extensively in family law including regular Court appearances in the Federal Circuit Court, the Family Court and the local Magistrates’ Courts. She became a Director at a local legal firm for eight years before leaving work in June 2009 to be at home full time with her four children.
In her time away from law, Nicole worked extensively as a volunteer in the local community as a secretary of a tennis club, secretary of a netball association and director of Kyabram District Health Service where she is currently the board chair.

Nicole joined the SMR Legal team in August 2019 and has enjoyed her return to the rewarding work of assisting family law clients.
